Six Months and Dreaming

This weekend I've been working on some of my junk projects,
dreaming about how to finish them up, and how they will look in someone else's space. I styled some things, and just had fun taking photos.
There's alot of pictures today! Would you come on a little tour with me?

Will I ever get this chair finished??

I think these will be used on a garden fencing candle chandelier I'm working on.

Real flowers are not in the budget right now, so I used some soft pink tissue paper flowers left over from Valentine's Day projects.

These blue boards came to me just as you see them. Don't you love this color? A little clean-up and the addition of an old piece of garden fencing and little clips and I think it makes a pretty charming, rustic photo display.

My youngest daughter wore this sweet vintage dress for my oldest daughter's wedding. I'm debating whether to keep it, or list it...

 Another garden fencing photo/note holder.

I just love this photo of my grandparents!

Back in January I showed you how to make this Recycled Paper Wreath. It's has been my most viewed post to date, thanks to Beckie at Roadkill Rescue and Donna at Funky Junk
featuring this humble creation. I'm happy to report it's still holding up!

I love the look of this old chippy baseboard. My plan is to combine it with the rusty garden fence.

Six months ago today I shared my first blog post and it has been such a fun adventure so far! I'm so very grateful that you're here, dreaming with me, and I look forward to seeing where the next months lead us together!

Love and blessings to you-

Jeanette

  13. Chippy wood boards are just the best and I love them in the white and also the blue.. great finds! Like you, I adore fencing. Years ago I bought some at a garage sale and still have it. It almost was sent to Goodwill but at the last moment I knew it was something to hang on to. Glad I did! Love all your photos and congrats on the progress of your blog.... !!!!

  15. Jeanette, Don't you just love that feeling of being guided by another force? Your baker's rack is marvelous and styled right out of a french shop. I so admire your ingenuity, talent and faith. As a Colorado neighbor I have been following your journey with interest as I was a single Mom albeit with one child and I did't have the hardships you have. I have added you to my prayer list and wish you the very best in life.
