Red Paper Heart Wreath

About this time last year, I shared with you a project where I made a heart shaped wreath out of recycled cardboard and brown paper packing material.

It is still one of my most viewed posts!

Then I figured out how to recreate the crinkled paper {sort of}, and shared another paper heart wreath I made with vintage sheet music.

{You can visit that post here}

Recently, I've made some more paper heart wreaths for the shop using vintage sheet music and vintage dictionary pages.

{Those are available here}

Awhile back, someone gave me some red paper gift bag filler, which is very similar to what I had used to make the other wreaths.

I decided I was going to break out of my usual neutral theme and make a festive red heart wreath.

A little wild, huh?

I added a vintage canvas hanging tie to it, and finished the back with vintage sheet music.

This "wild and woolly" red heart Valentine wreath is available at the shop right now, and it really stands out : )

I hope you're having a good weekend, friends!

Jeanette

  1. I collect old dictionaries and sheet music so this is another fine example of what I can make with them. Thanks for the inspiration! I especially love the red one for Valentine's Day! Come to think of it, I may even have that red schrunchy filler paper somewhere in my studio....the hunt begins!
